For anyone who has a commercial property interest in the UAE, the launch of a new direct route to Tokyo could prove useful.
It was announced today (November 23rd) that the country will become the latest addition to Emirates Airlines' flight destinations.
The service is set to commence as of March next year and marks the 102nd international location that the carrier travels to.
Flights will depart from Dubai, which currently boasts the biggest Japanese community in the Middle East, having 300 Japanese businesses.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of the company, said: "Emirates is delighted to announce the introduction of direct, non-stop services between Dubai and Tokyo. We have always stated our desire to expand our links with Japan - a market we are extensively committed to."
A Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft will now travel direct to Tokyo five times each week from Dubai.
Emirates Airlines currently claims to have one of the most modern fleets of aircraft in the sky.
