One multiple award-winning golfing professional recently chose property in the UAE as a destination for relaxation and work.
Champion Ernie Els resided in a villa in Dubai for seven days which allowed for the viewing of a new golf course he designed in the region.
Els said of the site, named the Els Club golf course: "[It] looks fabulous from the villa and I can literally walk right out on to it. The Els Club is just a walk away and the Butch Harmon School of Golf is just next to door."
Butch Harmon has been a Sky Sports analyst in England for six years, covering events including the PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and the US Open.
Els also commented on the fact that it is not just golf that is available literally on your doorstep, as the Dubai International Cricket Stadium can be found only three minutes drive away.
The player stayed at one of the villas on offer from Victory Heights during the Dubai World Championship, which boasts classic European, authentic Spanish Andalusian and Mediterranean style properties.
