A film festival could be on the agenda of those who have a Dubai property investment, as an event's regional box office recently opened.
The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) will run from December 9th to 16th this year, with tickets for the event available from counters in the Dubai Media City CNN building.
With over 170 films from 55 countries set to be screened it is thought that there will be a film to meet the tastes of everyone.
The event stands in its sixth year and is being held in association with the Dubai Studio.
Shivani Pandya, DIFF's managing director, said: "DIFF is a family and community event and this year we are offering several incentives to movie-goers."
The company representative added that those people wishing to buy tickets for a production can do so over the phone, online or in any of the of convenient sales locations.
Prices start at AED 10 for children and students and go up to AED 25 for non-students. A gala screening comes in at a cost of AED 80.
The event is supported by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority which was launched in March 2008.
