An announcement this week in relation to the establishment an office in Abu Dhabi could be of interest to people with commercial property in the UAE.
Drydocks World – Dubai is set to open its representative office in Abu Dhabi.
The company carries out conversion, new building and repair work of ships at its Dubai 200-hectare facility with direct sea access.
Hamed Mohammed Bin Lahej, Drydocks world executive vice chairman and regional CEO for the MENA regions, said: "The UAE capital offers great potential for our line of business. Setting up a representative office in Abu Dhabi will help address the increasing needs of the rapidly developing city and the premier oil and marine industry based there."
The office's inauguration took place in Abu Dhabi's National Exhibition Centre at the Middle East Workboats Exhibition.
Drydocks World – Dubai already claims to annually service some of the largest dredgers and jack-up rigs worldwide. Its facility has specialised liquefied natural gas handling capabilities alongside being modernly equipped, which allows the company to carry out precision work.
