The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) will develop a new strategy to attract visitors in time for the Dubai Shopping Festival, it has been announced.
A plan of action was agreed upon at the recent meeting of various DTCM and Office of Dubai Shopping members, in addition to representatives from Atlantis, Grosvenor House, Jumeirah Group, Arabian Adventures, Alpha Tours and White Sands.
During the meeting, Khalid Ahmed Bin Sulayem, director general of the DTCM, stressed the need to develop a plan quickly and stick to it, while he also confirmed that a number of discounts will be available for visitors to the country flying with Emirates.

Earlier this month, the organisers of the Dubai Shopping Festival announced the sponsors of the 14th annual event, with Dubai Retail and the Walk at Jumeirah Beach among the new businesses to offer support.
