Helping the poorest of the poor.

Food for Life started its humanitarian journey in 1990 by serving sweet rice to pilgrims visiting Vrindavana's Holy Temple of Krsna-Balaram Mandir. In 2002 the organisation opened its first school, Sandipuni Muni, and today has four branches that are educating well over 1,300 children. The First Group is proud to support this wonderful charity that really makes a difference in the lives of people living in one of India’s most impoverished areas.

The Figures

  • 4 schools across Vrindavana
  • Educating more than 1,300 children
  • Handing out over 66,000 meals every month
  • Providing basic medical care to 1000 people every month
  • Over 200 fruit trees planted per month under Tree for Life initiative

"Food for Life Vrindavana is an important part of our life. It's a privilege coupled with a pleasure and I feel honoured to be part of it. - "Vivek Oberoi, Indian Actor and Brand Ambassador for FFLV

Our work with Food for Life Vrindavana

"It was such a joy to meet the children, to see the smiles on their faces and learn how much they are enjoying their school life. We were honoured to witness first hand just how much Food for Life Vrindavana is helping people in this part of the world."
