A regional environment, health and safety conference may prove to be a suitable learning opportunity for those with commercial property in Dubai.
The invitation-only occasion saw professionals including safety practitioners and engineers to occupational health nurses – around 150 people in total – attend.
Hosted by the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) the event took place at the Movenpick Hotel in the region.
Waddah Ghanem, chief environmental health safety and quality compliance officer at ENOC, said: "The conference explored a subject matter of critical importance to the world today. In addition to occupational health and safety, there are environmental aspects to be integrated in the operational procedures of all organisations."
He added that incorporating such measures at a higher level would provide the right steps towards sustainable development.
ENOC is also a worldwide power group that is responsible for 30 active operations, joint ventures and subsidiaries, having formed many alliances with blue chip companies.
It currently works in range of activities from real estate to retail, having service stations across the northern Emirates and Dubai.
