My first meeting with someone from The First Group unexpectedly made me think about what I earn money for, and why I spend it on my needs and entertainment. With no hope of getting it back!!! Never had I previously known or imagined that I could invest money in the construction of a hotel in the centre of a "tourist Mecca" and, in the not-too-distant future, "Olympic sports centre" and receive not insignificant dividends from the property acquired that would allow me "to be sure of the future". A simple count of the hotels in Dubai and their occupancy statistics shows that this is all realistic! And so I decided to make my choice in favour of acquiring property in The Spirit, Dubai Sports City with The First Group. Constant contact with the company's employees, who answer immediately any questions that arise, plus a monthly online report on the construction status, with a description of the work performed, accompanied by photographs, makes me confident that my choice in favour of The First Group was the right one. I won't hide the fact that before making my choice I had sought advice on this matter from various firms working in Dubai and offering their services with regard to profitable investments, but had always been left with questions that disconcerted me and made me question my choice to acquire property as an investment for my short-term future.

During the global crisis, when many companies, including construction ones, scaled down their activities in the UAE, I was particularly impressed by the fact that one of the few firms that continued to meet the obligations to its clients was The First Group, with which I was already familiar. Not only did I not lose faith in the firm, I acquired a second property in Yasmin, Ras Al Khaimah, also built by the The First Group.

How many doom-mongers predicted a rapid end to the construction "boom" in Dubai, saying that the "bubble" was about to burst, that the UAE would never flourish, that whole districts would remain unfinished and that the foundations begun, the frameworks sticking up into the sky, like arms raised "in anguish" towards the sky, the foundation pits only just excavated, like non-healing ulcers, would serve as a monument to the "global confidence trick". Threats of a fall in property prices in Dubai came from all over the Internet. It was hard going through this and thinking that all my hopes would be dashed, and that the money I had worked so hard to earn had simply been wasted.

But constant communications with TFG personnel again and again reaffirmed my belief and confidence that the company would not betray either me as a client or the Dubai government, and that it was overcoming the crisis honourably and with dignity. Now that the crisis and stress are behind us, I would like to express my genuine words of gratitude to the management and personnel at The First Group, for that fact that they have coped with their obligations and raised their firm's flag to unattained heights, and each employee can rightly be proud to say "I am a representative of The First Group!"
